We are incredibly proud to share the fantastic achievement of Ifan B-E (3rds), who has been crowned a winner at this year’s Urdd Eisteddfod — a prestigious national festival celebrating Welsh language, culture, and creativity among young people.
Ifan won the Composing and Creating competition with an imaginative and engaging podcast about Dungeons and Dragons, which he produced entirely in Welsh. His work impressed judges with its originality, storytelling, and innovative use of the Welsh language in a modern, creative format.
A proud Welsh speaker, Ifan’s inspiration came from the school’s Dungeons and Dragons club — an activity he thoroughly enjoys. The club has played a key role in developing his creativity, confidence, and collaborative skills, while also encouraging the use of Welsh in a fun and meaningful way.
Ifan’s success is a wonderful example of how co-curricular activities can inspire pupils to achieve their very best and celebrate their identity. We are delighted to celebrate his achievement and look forward to seeing where his creativity takes him next.
Llongyfarchiadau mawr, Ifan!
